  1. Hey I like your photography it’s pretty interesting. I’m curious about the significance in clocks in your work and angels? Lol, seriously, I think it’s unique in a very good way.

    1. Thank you so much! The photos are collages of pictures I toke myself and from the internet, if you look at my posts I usually write a poem relating to the images. I have always had a fascination with concept of time and angels usually symbolize a melancholy beauty to me.

  2. I really dig these pictures. Digital editing is something I also enjoy! I am waiting for a new laptop to arrive that I ordered from Walmart, and though I can’t afford photoshop at the moment, I might install GIMP, which is supposed to be a comparable freeware application.

I mostly like using iPhone apps like Snapseed and Imageblender for what I do though. It’s fast, efficient, and easy for me, as I have a limited knowledge base of digital editing, but… I’ve wanted to learn for over a decade. Since I was in middle school, and a friend showed me the kinds of things you could do with a really old version of Photoshop… Skill with Photoshop is partially what I intended to add to my repertoire when I first went to college, hoping to pursue something that would get me into career web design, before plans fell through. I’ve always liked design.

Anyways, I’m rambling… happens when I have too much on my mind. Happy Thanksgiving, and thanks for reading and liking the posts you have!

  3. What a wonderfully creative eye you have! I envy your freestyle approach, something I’m just not capable of doing. I hope to see more. I didn’t have the chance to read you work year, but I will, I promise.

  4. I like your composite images, Marlene… something I have been intending to have a go at for a while, perhaps I’ll make it a New Year’s resolution! Thanks for stopping by my blog πŸ™‚

  5. Lovely blog Marlene and beautiful photography and writing!. Keep going. And thanks for stopping over at mine πŸ™‚
Ps-for some reason, I can’t ‘like’ anything. The button seems to always be loading-probably a fault with my computer.

  6. This is so unique and stunning! Thanks for liking my post I’m new to blogging. Your poetry is beautiful and enchanting.

  7. I wish i could do with words what you do with photography, but I guess that’s why they say, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” Anyway, I want to thank you for liking my words in the post “River Congo – Excerpt 26” on writingiam.wordpress.com. Thanks and Aloha – pjs.

  8. Wow. I have been inspired to get out my camera and make it work.
    Beautiful art you have created.
